The Lamb's Book of life, & The New Jerusalem!

There is a much better life for those truly in Christ Jesus once this world and all the evil in it is destroyed. 

And so we must make sure for us to be there. We must be written in the Lamb's book of life. How do I know? I want to read from the book of Revelation which tells us about this and about those that won't be there. 

Turn with me and lets read ( Revelation 21 verse 27 ) which reads like this, ( 27 ) " And there shall in no wise enter into it ( The New Jerusalem ) anything that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life.

" And so we see here only those  in the Lamb's book of life will be allowed to enter into that which the Lord is preparing for those that have confessed, forsaken their sin, & asked forgiveness that are also born again ( John 3:3 ) that lived and walked according to the Spirit and not the flesh. Why you may ask? 

Because God is Holy and righteous He can't allow sin to dwell where He is. Which is why when God found sin in satan and the angels he took with him they were cast from heaven. 

And so if there be any sin in your life we must confess it, ask for forgiveness of it ( 1 John 1:9 ) and repent from it. And ask God to help us overcome that sin or sins which so easily ensnares us.

Now the New Jerusalem is a promise from God to the Bride of Jesus Christ His Church. 

Now we are going to turn to & read ( Revelation 21 verses 1-2 ) which reads, ( 1 ) And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. ( 2 ) And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband." Though I would ask that you read all verses pertaining to Revelation 21. 

As it proves how awesome God really is. Now you may ask what will this place look like, well while we will not know exactly what it looks like till God's true saints get there. But I would invite us to read verses ( 18-21 of Revelation 21 ). 

And to think there will be no more sin, wickedness, division, neither sickness or pain, nor tears and there will be no more death there either. What a blessed, joyous, time that will be.

Is Jesus Christ your Lord & Personal Savior? Have you accepted and trusted Him, and given Him the throne room to your heart? If not and you have not surrendered to Him, I urge you to do so today as tomorrow is not promised to anyone. 

Pray to God today, confess that you have gone against Him, & to ask Him to forgive you of all your sins, accept His free gift of grace and eternal life in Jesus Christ, get baptized, and receive the Holy Spirit. 

I have and I'm greatful every moment of everyday for this. And I promise you, your life will be far better than you can ever imagine, as God is the best most perfect Father, that knows what we need and is best for us at all times, and I promise you, He will never fail us and will never forsake us, and will never mislead us, and He is a promise keeper. 

And loves more than we know and can imagine.
