The Grace & Mercy of God:

The Grace & Mercy of God:

 Isaiah 53: 5

Blessed day/evening to all my brothers & sisters around the world. Prayers for all that are in need around the world and those that are not saved.

Do you know what the grace of God is? Yes we know God's great love and compassion for us is when Jesus bare upon His body the punishment we rightfully deserved in ( Isaiah 53 verse 5 ). And that Jesus Christ died on the cross of Calvary in our place ( Romans 5 verse 8 ). The most perfect and beautiful example of being under God's great love and receive the gift of adoption through faith and a true abiding relationship in Jesus Christ and receiving the Holy Spirit. Well turn with me and let's read from the book of Romans ok. ( Romans 8th Chapter verse 15 ) which reads like this, " For ye have not received the Spirit of bondage again to fear, but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba! Father!". Now that alone should tell you alot about God's character and the fact He's a loving, perfect, merciful, and gracious God by His very nature. But let us take to heart we should not go and diliberately go around taking advantage of His perfectly good & loving nature.

I want to turn to ( Romans 6th Chapter verse 14 ) which reads, " For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law but under grace." Now what exactly does it mean for those of us that have truly surrendered our lives to Jesus Christ our Lord and given our lives to Him to not be under the law? It means that those of us who truly have are no longer under the curse of the law of sin and death but under God's law of love, mercy, & life changing & life saving compassion. And take to heart all He provides, the battles He fights for us, and how He protects us from more than we know or realize. Now does God's grace mean we can just sin whenever we want to? What does the Bible have to say about that? Well turn with me and lets read ( Romans 6 verses 1 & 2 ) which reads, ( 1 ) " What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? ( 2 ) God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?" And so we see that once we become children of God we are not to remain in the same sinful state we used to be in.

Because let me remind you what the Bible says about sinning willfully. Well I urge you to read ( Hebrews 10th Chapter verses 26-31 ) and remember we reap what we sow ( Galatians 6 verses 7-9 ). So lets confess our sins today ( 1 John 1:9 ) and repent and cut off the sins preventing us from being where God knows and desires us to be so that His plans for us, and so the things He wants to provide us can come to pass.

Dear Father in heaven! We thank you each and everyday for always being who you are by your very nature and the fact you never waver from it. As you are the same as you have always been and always will be. Please continue to help us through each and everyday of this life. Please help those that are in darkness and bondage so they can be set free once they accept and trust Jesus as their Lord & Personal Savior, and to please help them to be adopted into your family of the Kingdom of Light, Just as you did with me and others already. And please help others to experience your life saving grace and mercy. In Jesus name! Amen!
