 The state of our prayer life with God:

 1 Thessalonians 5:17

 

Happy blessed day/night to all my brothers and sisters around the world. Prayers for all around the world that are in need as well as the unsaved.

What is the state of your prayer life? And did you know that whatever state your prayer life may be also reflects the state of our heart. But did you know that our Abba Father in heaven wants to hear from us in prayer without ceasing. Turn with me and read ( 1 Thessalonians 5th Chapter verse 17 ) which reads like this, ( 17 ) " Pray without ceasing." Now you may be wondering what is the right way to approach God in prayer? Well turn with me and read ( Psalm 100 verse 4 ) which reads like this, " Enter his gates with Thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name." After that confess your sins ( 1 John 1:9 ), ask for forgiveness and truly repent. But let say this, when praying don't do the all the talking, cause when we do all the talking, He cannot talk to us. Its sort of like going to a Dr. We talk, we tell them what's wrong and then leave without the Dr being able to say anything to us to help us. So when talking to our Father, talk to Him as a child does with his/her father. And take time to be silent, quiet your mind and He will speak to you.

Now you may ask well, what can I do to receive the answer to my prayer? Well, 1 ) you must not have any doubt that you have received what you prayed for. For if you doubt, you won't receive. However Jesus tells us we must believe that we received we asked for. Turn with me and together let's read (  Mark 11 verse 24 ) (24)  " Therefore I say unto you, All things whatsoever ye pray and ask for, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them." And we must pray according to the will of The Father, how do I know? Well turn with me and together lets read " ( 1 John 5 verses 14-15 ) " ( 14 ) And this is the confidence we have in him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he heareth us: ( 15 ) And if we know he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him." And don't despair if you don't know what to pray as ought because He can read your heart and mind. And did you know The Holy Spirit will intercede for us? Please turn and read ( Romans 8 verse 26 ). But if we are truly listening and we ask The Holy Spirit will also put in our hearts and guide us what and who to pray for.

Remember Almighty God is bigger than anything we face and will always help us and so whatever burdens, worries, concerns, battles, and anything else going on in your life, talk to God about all of it, trust Him with all your heart knowing He is listening and enjoys hearing from us. And for anyone that hasn't accepted, trusted, and let Jesus into their hearts, I urge you to do so today, just as I did in 2016 and I promise you your life will be so blessed beyond measure. Pray to God, admit and confess you have traspassed against Him and ask for forgiveness of your sins and tell Him whole heartedly you accept His gift of eternal life in Jesus Christ the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords, and your Lord and personal Savior. And I promise you God will forgive you no matter what, and be baptized and your journey as a member of God's family begins, and with the gift of the Holy Spirit, God becomes your Father.
